Since we launched our Redevelopment Appeal in 1994, over $2.3 million has been raised and a number of significant projects completed for the benefit of our entire community. Our new 60-bed Residential Aged Care Facility is due for completion in 2007. Thank you to those who have given and continue to give their support to Mt Alexander Hospital in so many ways.
Annual Fundraiser - Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay This year we had three teams, comprising of 34 riders and support crew participate in the annual Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay raising money for Mt Alexander Hospital. The ride aims at inspiring people who would not normally undertake such an experience, to fulfil a major personal achievement. To enhance this aim, local businesses, members of the community, friends and staff members sponsor the riders in their fundraising efforts. As well as personal sponsorship, the teams organise a number of fundraising events including BBQ's, a raffle, mail-out to the community and a wine fundraiser. In 2007 riders raised the fantastic total of $38,695.
